- My absolute fave is the buffing brush. On the Real Techniques website the buffing brush is described as being the perfect brush for applying powder and mineral foundation. I've been using the buffing brush to buff in my tinted moisturizer and I find that not only does it make my product go a long way, by buffing my foundation into my skin (as opposed to using a paddle brush to smear it on), I can achieve a light, flawless finish. LOVE.
- I have to admit that when I saw the precision brush I thought, "meh, if anything my son can use this for his water-colour masterpieces". But more and more, I find myself reaching for this little gem. I've used it as a lip brush, a lash line blender, and as a brush to apply concentrated colour to my outer V.
- I'm a big fan of the pointed foundation brush. I use it to apply concealer and highlighter.
- Now. I have tried my fair share of contour brushes. I've tried the NARS Ita Kabuki brush, various MAC brushes, I've even custom trimmed my brushes to try to create the perfect contour brush. This brush is the Holy Grail of contour brushes. The bristles are compact and domed enough to apply a concentration of colour, whereas they are soft enough to be able to nicely blend out your product so that you don't end up with a stripy face- never a good look.
XOXO,
Christine.
